I am currently seeking experienced Nurse Unit Managers and Assistant Nurse Unit Managers for exciting opportunities across some of Sydney’s most respected and prestigious private hospitals. These are fantastic opportunities for experienced clinical leaders looking to take the next step in their career, join a high-performing team and make a genuine impact on patient care and team culture.
I’m particularly interested in experienced nurse leaders with backgrounds in Mental Health, Perioperative, Medical and Surgical nursing.
About the Role
As a NUM/ANUM, you will play a key role in the leadership and day-to-day operations of a clinical department, working closely with the Director of Nursing, senior leadership and multidisciplinary teams.
You will lead, support and inspire a team of nursing professionals while helping drive exceptional clinical standards, quality improvement, staff development and outstanding patient care.

About You We're looking for an experienced Registered Nurse and confident clinical leader who brings strong judgement, communication skills and a genuine passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
You'll ideally have:
- Current AHPRA registration
- 4+ years' nursing experience
- Demonstrated NUM, ANUM or clinical leadership experience
- Strong clinical leadership and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Experience supporting staff development, rostering and performance management
- A strong commitment to protected, patient-centred care
- Relevant management or postgraduate qualifications highly regarded
- Experience within mental health, perioperative, medical and/or surgical environments highly regarded
