Nursery staff required (immediate start)

The core business of Olinda Nurseries Hesket Site is the production of advanced trees grown using the air pruned pot system. We are a wholesale nursery.

Because of the small size of the team at Hesket, it is expected that staff will work in the main on as needs to basis. That is that if a job needs to be done then it is done. The nature of deciduous tree production means workloads and priorities can vary throughout the year, requiring flexibility, teamwork, and a willingness to assist wherever needed.

Job requires maintaining stock, use of equipment, working as part of a team to get the job done in a secure manner. Task requirements can change from day to day and season to season.

The role requires the ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily nursery operations.

Must be able to commute to Hesket Victoria

Bonus if have truck license. Preferred to have manual license. Training to acquire Horticultural certificate available to right person.
