About the Role

Join CALHN as a Nutrition and Dietetic Assistant and help deliver secure, efficient meal and nutrition support for patients. Work alongside dietitians, food services and clinical teams to support quality care and positive patient experiences.

- Manage patient menus, meal orders and diet changes
- Check and follow up patients with complex dietary needs
- Liaise with dietitians, nursing and food services teams
- Assist with nutrition support, audits and allied health services
- Support trainee staff and work experience students

About You

You are a flexible and collaborative team member with strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to supporting protected, high-quality patient care.

To be successful in this role you will:





- Hold or be undertaking a Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance
- Bring customer service, food service or healthcare experience
- Work collaboratively and follow clinical direction and procedures
- Confidently use Microsoft Word, Excel and digital systems
- Prioritise tasks while respecting patient privacy and confidentiality
