Australia

At Avina, we’re a national allied health and behaviour support organisation with 400+ clinicians across NSW, QLD, VIC and SA.

We’re looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our Outer Sydney team, supporting participants across areas including Liverpool, Campbelltown and surrounding suburbs.

This is a mobile, community-based role, giving you the chance to work with participants where therapy can have the greatest impact — in their homes, schools and everyday environments. While you’ll have plenty of autonomy in how you structure your day, you’ll still be connected to a supportive multidisciplinary team with regular supervision, peer support and opportunities to collaborate.

We also aim to keep caseloads geographically aligned where possible, helping to make travel practical and your working day sustainable.

About the Role We’re open to OTs at different stages of their career, from early career clinicians through to experienced Occupational Therapists looking for flexibility, variety and opportunities to continue developing.

You’ll

- Deliver functional, strengths-based and person-centred Occupational Therapy
- Complete assessments, intervention planning and ongoing therapy
- Support participants to build independence and work towards meaningful everyday goals
- Work predominantly across home, school and community environments
- Collaborate with families,

carers and a broader multidisciplinary team
- Manage your own schedule while remaining connected to your local team
- Participate in regular supervision, peer learning and professional development

What You’ll Find at Avina

- Flexibility and autonomy to structure your working day
- Regular clinical supervision and support
- A connected multidisciplinary team across OT, Speech Pathology, Psychology, Physiotherapy and Behaviour Support
- Professional development and opportunities to grow your clinical interests
- Peer learning and Communities of Practice
- The resources and career opportunities of a national organisation, with the connection of a local team

What You’ll Bring

- Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration
- Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle for regular community travel
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication, clinical reasoning and organisational skills
- A collaborative, person-centred approach

At Avina, mobile doesn’t mean working alone. You’ll have the independence to work across the Outer Sydney community while having a team behind you for supervision, collaboration and support. If you’re looking for flexibility, a varied caseload and a team that genuinely has your back, we’d love to hear from you.
