About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a sub-contractor. In this role, you will primarily support clients under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), with the potential to also support older adults through the Support at Home program and residential aged-care facilities in the future.

In this role you will:

· Conduct functional assessments and develop individualised, evidence-based recommendations and intervention plans.

· Complete reports and maintain comprehensive and accurate records and documentation in line with industry standards

· Work collaboratively with clients, their families and caregivers, support coordinators, case managers, allied-health professionals, and other services to support person centred and high-quality care

· Be comfortable working across client homes and telehealth

What we are looking for:

· At least 2 years’ experience (essential)

· At least 1 year experience working as an occupational therapist within the NDIS sector (desirable)

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· An empathetic approach with excellent rapport-building abilities

· Strong organisational and time-management skills

· Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to travel to client homes across Melbourne

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team





· Willingness and capacity to accept NDIS referrals.

What we require from you:

· Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent

· Current AHPRA registration

· Current Victoria Driver Licence

· Valid Police Check

· Australian Business Number (ABN)

· Professional Indemnity Insurance

· NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

· Working with Children Check
