As an Occupational Therapist you will provide high-quality, person centred occupational therapy to children, adolescents and/or adults across a range of presentations and environments.

You will work alongside clients, families, support networks and other professionals to identify strengths, understand barriers and develop practical strategies that enable greater independence, participation, regulation and quality of life.

The role offers genuine flexibility.

Depending on your preferences and client needs, you may provide services via telehealth, in clients' homes, within the community, in supported accommodation or from our clinic. You will have the autonomy to structure your working day while remaining connected to a supportive multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities Clinical Practice

- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments, including functional capacity assessments where appropriate.
- Develop practical, individualised intervention plans based on each person's goals, strengths, needs and circumstances.
- Provide occupational therapy interventions that support independence, participation and quality of life.
- Support clients to develop skills across areas such as: o Activities of daily living o Emotional regulation o Sensory processing and regulation o Executive functioning o Community participation o Social participation o Functional capacity and independence o Environmental access and adaptation
- Provide recommendations regarding equipment, assistive technology,



environmental modifications and support needs where clinically appropriate.
- Complete high-quality clinical documentation, reports and assessments within required timeframes.
- Monitor client progress and adapt interventions based on outcomes and changing needs.
- Provide services across home, community, clinic, supported accommodation and telehealth environments. Person-Centred & Trauma-Informed Practice
- Deliver therapy using trauma-informed, neuro-affirming and strengths-based approaches.
- Build relationships that promote safety, trust, dignity and connection.
- Work collaboratively with clients rather than taking a compliance-based approach.

You will ideally have

- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy.

Solid assessment, clinical reasoning and report-writing skills.
- Experience working with children, adolescents and/or adults with psychosocial,

neurological, developmental and/or physical disabilities.
- Experience within community, disability or NDIS settings is highly valued.
- An understanding of trauma-informed, neuro-affirming and strengths-based practice.
- The ability to work independently and manage your own caseload and schedule.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to build authentic, respectful relationships with clients and their support networks.
