Role DescriptionThis is a full-time or part-time Occupational Therapist role based on the Gold Coast, with a hybrid working arrangement.

The role involves working primarily with people with neurological conditions across community and home settings. You will assess clients, develop individualised intervention plans and deliver a broad range of occupational therapy interventions.

Your work may include

- Functional capacity assessments
- Rehabilitation and capacity-building therapy
- Assistive technology assessment and prescription
- Home modifications
- Cognitive and functional assessment
- Caregiver and support-worker training
- Manual handling and positioning
- Goal-directed intervention
- Clinical documentation and reporting
- Collaboration with other health professionals and participation in case conferences
- Contributing to service development as the practice continues to grow

We value clinical autonomy, while ensuring you have the supervision, support and resources needed to practise well.

Once you are established in the role, you'll have significant autonomy over how you structure your working week, including where and when you work,



while still meeting your clinical responsibilities and client needs.

We're also interested in clinicians who want to grow. There will be opportunities to develop your clinical skills, take on areas of interest, contribute to the direction of the practice and progress as the team grows.

RemunerationThis is a mid-to-senior clinician role, with a minimum of 2 years' occupational therapy experience.

$90,000–$120,000 + superannuation + performance bonuses, based on a full-time position and pro rata for part-time employment, depending on experience and clinical capability.

What We're Looking ForWe're looking for an OT with strong clinical reasoning, a genuine commitment to doing good work and the curiosity to keep learning.

We're more interested in how you think, communicate and practise than whether you've already ticked every neuro-specific box.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration (or eligibility for registration)
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong clinical reasoning and ability to work autonomously
- Solid communication skills and the ability to explain clinical information clearly to clients, families and other professionals
- Experience or a strong interest in working with people with neurological conditions
- Experience across assessment, intervention planning and evidence-based occupational therapy practice
- Ability to manage time effectively and work across community and home settings
- Commitment to ethical practice, ongoing professional development and culturally safe, inclusive care
- Current driver's licence and ability to travel locally for community and home visits
- Experience working with neurological conditions is valued, but not essential. If you're a strong OT with the right mindset and a genuine interest in neuro, we'll support you to build your skills in this area.
