- Cog grade 3: $100,490 - $108,590 plus superannuation.
The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking an Offender Management Supervisor to provide a critical role at Western Plains Correctional Centre.

Western Plains Correctional Centre is a modern, maximum-security prison focussed on rehabilitation, housing up to 1248 people in custody.

About The Role The offender management supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the Correctional practice framework is embedded at Western Plans,
the offender management supervisor will promote best practice case management, provides advise and direction regarding all aspects of offender management. The offender management supervisor establishes effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the prison achieves its objectives.
Some Of Your Duties Will Include
- Implement offender management initiatives and processes at Western Plans, including contributing to the promotion of positive culture change within the organisation.
- Mentor and train custodial supervisors in offender management practices including case planning, motivating staff compliance with case management and monitoring progress of prisoners on their case load.
- Develop and implement strategies for quality assurance and continuous improvement in the execution of offender management initiatives.

- Demonstrated knowledge of Correctional practice framework.
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership in a prison environment.
Qualifications/requirements
- Completion of Prison Pre-Service Training.
- Certificate IV in Correctional Practice (desirable).
