About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Operations Assistant to join our team at Pinkenba, working with Avant loaders and attachments.

This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working with machinery, keeping things organised and takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe and efficient yard and warehouse.

You will work alongside our team to ensure machinery, attachments, parts and deliveries are organised and ready for customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Unloading trucks and receiving incoming stock
- Unpacking shipping containers from time to time
- General warehouse and yard duties
- Keeping the yard and warehouse clean, tidy and organised
- Racking and organising loader attachments
- Picking and packing customer deliveries, machinery and attachments
- Preparing attachments and equipment for delivery
- Parts pick-ups and deliveries
- Stock control and regular stocktakes
- Learning and completing pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) on Avant loaders and attachments
- General maintenance and presentation of the yard, warehouse and equipment
- Other duties associated with the day-to-day operation of the dealership

About You We are looking for someone who is:

- Reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
- Comfortable with manual handling
- Organised and able to work independently
- Safety-conscious and has a good eye for detail
- Comfortable working around machinery and equipment
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Willing to learn and take on additional responsibilities





Mechanical knowledge or experience with machinery would be highly regarded, although training will be provided for the right person. Tickets & Licences

Essential:

- Current forklift licence
- Current Drivers licence

Highly regarded:

- HR or MR truck licence
- Mechanical or machinery experience
- Experience in warehousing, transport, machinery dealerships or similar industries
