Our partner company TrueLine Protective Coatings is an industrial protective coatings business based in Kembla Grange, servicing clients across the Illawarra and surrounding regions. We provide abrasive blasting, surface preparation, and protective coating services across workshop and site-based projects within construction, manufacturing, steel, and heavy industry.

With ongoing growth, we are looking for an organised and proactive Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day running and continued development of the business.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and capable Operations Coordinator to provide broad support across the business. This is a varied role covering administration, customer and sales support, job coordination, WHS, compliance, and general operational requirements.

You will work closely with management and the operational team to keep jobs organised, customers informed, documentation current, and the day-to-day administrative functions of the business running efficiently.

This role will suit an all-rounder who is comfortable wearing multiple hats and enjoys working in a practical, fast-moving industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinating day-to-day administration and operational requirements.
- Managing customer enquiries, correspondence, job documentation, and general office administration.
- Supporting sales activities, including customer follow-up, enquiries, quotations, and maintaining client relationships.
- Assisting with job scheduling, labour coordination, purchasing, materials, and project requirements.
- Liaising with customers, suppliers, contractors, and operational personnel.
- Maintaining job records, documentation, registers, and filing systems.
- Supporting invoicing, purchase orders, timesheets, and other basic commercial administration.
- Coordinating employee onboarding, training records, licences, and compliance documentation.
- Supporting WHS requirements,



including documentation, inspections, incident reporting, corrective actions, and record keeping.
- Assisting with client prequalification, inductions, site documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Monitoring upcoming work and helping ensure resources and documentation are organised ahead of time.
- Supporting management with general business administration and continuous improvement activities.

About You

- Previous experience in operations coordination, administration, project support, or a similar all-rounder role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident communicating with customers, suppliers, tradespeople, and management.
- Strong computer skills and confidence using Microsoft Office and business systems.
- Comfortable working with quotations, purchase orders, job documentation, and general commercial administration.
- WHS or compliance experience highly regarded.
- Experience within industrial services, construction, manufacturing, engineering, or protective coatings highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Able to work independently, take ownership, and follow tasks through to completion.
- Positive, practical, and adaptable approach to supporting a growing business.
