The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Operations & Logistics Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their production, warehouse and distribution functions. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring products are prepared, stored and delivered efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality, food safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily operations across production, warehousing, inventory and distribution.
- Coordinate delivery schedules and transport logistics to ensure timely customer deliveries.
- Lead and supervise warehouse, production and delivery staff.
- Monitor stock levels, purchasing requirements and inventory accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, workplace health and safety requirements.
- Develop and improve operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Maintain quality standards throughout the supply chain.
- Manage vehicle fleet scheduling and maintenance requirements.
- Work closely with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure service excellence.
- Prepare operational reports and manage budgets, costs and performance metrics.
- Support business growth through strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience

- Previous experience in an Operations Manager, Logistics Manager, Supply Chain Manager or similar leadership position.




- Strong understanding of warehousing, inventory management and freight logistics.
- Experience within fresh produce, food manufacturing, FMCG or distribution environments is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to manage and develop teams.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and relationship management abilities.
- Experience using inventory management and warehouse systems.
- Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Essential Requirements

- Current Australian Driver Licence.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management experience.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
