What’s the role?

Looking for a role where every day brings something different—and where your work helps make a meaningful difference? Join the Good Friday Appeal team as a Supporter Care and Fundraising Coordinator and help create memorable experiences for the donors, fundraisers and volunteers who make our Appeal possible.

This is a fast-paced, people-focused entry-level role where you’ll be at the heart of the action. From responding to supporter enquiries and coordinating campaign resources to assisting with events, raffles and fundraising administration, you’ll gain broad experience across a dynamic, purpose-led organisation.

You’ll bring warmth, accuracy and calm problem-solving to every interaction, while working with digital, finance, marketing and fundraising teams to keep things moving. There’s plenty of variety, opportunities to learn and space to bring creativity and fresh ideas to the way we support our community and the Royal Children’s Hospital.

Role Responsibilities

- Manage central contact and fundraising inboxes, serving as the main touchpoint for donor and volunteer inquiries.

- Triage supporter registrations, resolve routine inquiries, and steward community fundraisers below specified thresholds.

- Execute administrative tasks for campaigns, raffles, and events, including managing supplier approvals and collecting digital assets.

- Maintain accurate CRM records in Salesforce, assist with basic reporting, and process donations.

- Coordinate the distribution of event collateral, certificates, acknowledgments, fundraising resources and materials using established checklists.

- Assist with the fundraising permit implementation process under the guidance of campaign managers.

- Handle routine complaints constructively and elevate complex matters or sensitive issues to senior portfolio owners.

- Deliver calm, supporter-centered service and operational backup during peak Positive Friday Appeal periods.

Who are you?

- Background in customer service, supporter care, or fundraising administration within an NFP or corporate setting.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a warm, empathetic, and sensitive tone for diverse stakeholders.

- Comfortable using Google Workspace, MS Office, and CRM tools, with experience in Salesforce, Funraisin, or Canva being a strong plus.

- High level of organisational skill and accuracy when managing data entry, shared inbox queues, and administrative workflows.

- Ability to triage incoming requests efficiently, follow standard operating procedures, and know when to elevate complex issues.

- Composed, adaptable, and focused during high-volume, fast-paced Appeal periods.

- Enjoys working across digital, finance, and marketing teams to build a connected supporter experience.

- Passionate about supporting the Royal Children’s Hospital community and upholding the values of the Good Friday Appeal.

Why this role matters

You’ll help turn every supporter interaction into a positive connection with the Good Friday Appeal. Whether you’re helping a first-time fundraiser get started, ensuring a volunteer has the right resources or resolving a donor enquiry with care, your work will help people feel valued,

supported and part of something bigger.

With variety, purpose and the chance to learn across fundraising operations, this is a great opportunity to build your career while contributing to an iconic Appeal. Bring your curiosity, creativity and can-do spirit—we’ll bring the opportunity to make a difference.
