About You

n

n
- Extensive electrical estimating experience within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 electrical contractor or similar commercial construction environment.
n
- Current Estimating Manager or Senior Estimator ready to step into a leadership position.
n
- Strong experience tendering electrical packages for commercial construction projects.
n
- Sound electrical trade and/or engineering background with strong technical and design knowledge.
n
- Proven ability to manage complex tenders, commercial risk, project costs and margins.
n
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, drawings, specifications and Australian Standards.
n
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and client relationship skills.
n




- Commercially driven with the ability to identify opportunities and contribute to business growth.

The Role

n

- Lead and mentor the Design & Estimating team, managing workloads and tender priorities.
n
- Oversee major electrical tenders across commercial construction projects, ensuring accurate pricing and competitive submissions.
n
- Review drawings, specifications, scopes and contract documentation to identify risks, exclusions and value-engineering opportunities.
n
- Manage labour, material and subcontractor pricing, cost planning and commercial negotiations.
n
- Oversee electrical design to ensure practical, compliant and cost-effective construction solutions.
n
- Build relationships with builders, developers, consultants and clients to identify and secure new project opportunities.
n
- Work closely with the Managing Director on tender strategy, business development and project profitability.
n
- Improve estimating systems, processes and reporting to drive efficiency and commercial performance.
