About the Role (Pilot Position) We are seeking an organized, proactive, and versatile Operations & Mobile Services Coordinator to join our team.
In this varied role, you will bridge clinic operations, administrative coordination, and community outreach. As our Island Dental Mobile Care Liaison Officer, you will drive external partner engagement while providing multi-site administrative and operational support across our Hobart, Sorell, and New Norfolk practices.
? Note on Pilot Status: This is an exciting pilot role created to support Island Dental’s growth and the expansion of our Mobile Care program. As a new initiative, the specific responsibilities and operational scope are expected to adapt over time. We are seeking an adaptable candidate eager to shape this role, with transparent opportunities for career progression as the program expands.
Key Responsibilities
- Mobile Care Liaison & Outreach: Act as the primary contact for aged care facilities, disability support groups, and community organizations. Coordinate schedules, logistics, and service agreements for mobile clinic visits.
- Multi-Site Administrative Support:
Assist management with daily operational workflows, vendor liaison, and administrative standardization across Hobart, Sorell, and New Norfolk.
- Digital Systems & Equipment Support: Support day-to-day CAD/CAM digital workflows, maintain equipment servicing records, and provide basic IT troubleshooting across clinics.
About You (Selection Criteria) Essential:
- Strong administrative, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities.
- Outstanding communication skills with confidence in building community relationships.
- High digital literacy and comfort learning software/technical systems.
- Adaptable problem-solver with high attention to detail.
- Valid Australian Driver’s License (for local site travel).
Desirable (Advantageous):
- Experience in the aged care sector, disability sector, or supporting vulnerable community groups.
- Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) card (or willingness to obtain one).
- Experience in healthcare administration, dental operations, or outreach/business development.
- Basic IT troubleshooting capabilities or familiarity with digital equipment.
