Island Optical in Centre Point Arcade Hobart is looking for a full time Optical Dispenser/Assistant to join the friendly team.

We have around 65 stores nationwide and have been in the Optical business for over 35 years, we are Australian owned and operated and our staff do not have targets or KPI's to meet. We simply offer the best product for each customers particular needs without the pressure to push unwanted products.

While experience would be preferred, full training will be given to the sucessful applicant, even if they are recent to Optical Dispensing.

The position is full time, with some Saturday shifts.

The team you will join is experienced, friendly, helpful and committed to a happy work setting.

Computer data entry

Assisting customers to choose spectacle frames





Assisting customers with the best optical lenses for their needs The qualities we are looking for include:

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to work as part of a team

You will need attention to detail when entering data

Keen to learn new skills

Availability to work Saturdays
