We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Spartan Steel based in Yennora, NSW. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for preparing and applying paint, protective coatings and other finishes to structural steel components and fabricated steelwork. Your role will be crucial in ensuring our products are finished to a high standard, providing protection against corrosion, surface integrity and maintaining their quality and appearance.
What you’ll be doing
- Surface preparation of fabricated structural steel components
- Selection and application of primers, protective coatings, specialised paint systems and varnishes
- Repair and rectification of coating defects
Requirements
- Candidates will have at least AQF Certificate III including at least two years on the job training, or AQF Certificate IV. Alternatively, at least three years of relevant work experience is required in lieu of the above qualification.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

This is a full-time position with an immediate start with a salary offering of $79,000- $85,000 per annum plus super.
