Backed by robust professional networks, a future-focused culture and a deep investment in technology, the firm continues to expand its service offering to clients across Australia.
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to join our Melbourne team. In this hands-on role, you will provide vital support to our legal team through document drafting, case preparation and file management.
While prior experience in a legal environment is an advantage, it is not essential as we are committed to providing comprehensive on-the-job training for the right person who demonstrates a willingness to learn and a "can-do" attitude.
This is an ongoing full-time role with potential flexibility for part-time hours (minimum 3 days per week).
Key Duties
As a valued member of our legal team, you will be deeply involved in the lifecycle of our matters, providing essential support that ensures the delivery of high-quality outcomes for our clients.
- Document drafting: Preparation of general correspondence, letters of advice, briefs, evidence and court documents.
- Case management: Assisting our solicitors with the preparation of cases from inception through to hearing or settlement.
- Legal research: Conducting legal research and preparation of case summaries and articles.
- File management and support: Providing legal and administrative assistance as required.
Skills and Experience
We are looking for an aspiring legal professional who balances academic excellence with a proactive,
team-oriented mindset and a genuine desire to learn within a fast-paced environment.
- Experience: While prior legal experience is highly desirable, we welcome applications from motivated individuals looking to start their legal career.
- Communication and organisation: We are looking for candidates with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and well-developed time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Attitude: A proactive approach, robust initiative, and a team-player mindset are essential.
Why join us?
We are a people-first organisation dedicated to building long-term career pathways. Our comprehensive Employee Value Proposition includes:
- A Culture of Excellence: Join a vibrant team where professional standards and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do.
- Financial Reward: Competitive remuneration, a generous performance-based bonus scheme, and referral incentives that recognise your impact.
- Career Acceleration: A supported pathway to legal admission, including firm-covered PLT costs, structured mentoring, a pro-active learning and development programme, and exposure to high-quality matters.
- Sustainable Performance: We set realistic targets to ensure quality over quantity, supported by flexible hybrid working and a tech-forward environment.
- Health & Wellbeing: Access confidential support via our EAP, annual health checks (flu shots/skin checks), and a culture that genuinely values your balance.
