What you'll do

This is a disclosure specialist role inside a tech company! AI Paralegal processes financial disclosure for family law firms - collating, sorting and indexing the bank statements, tax returns, superannuation records and other documents that make up a party's disclosure obligations. You'll be the human backing that process - stepping in when the AI hits its edge, correcting how documents are categorised, indexed or reconciled in the backend, and translating every manual intervention into product improvements so we don't have to do it again.

Family law disclosure is your home turf, and your judgment is what turns a support ticket into a better product.

To make this happen, you will:





- Pick up inbound requests from law firms in real time - Intercom-style messages that land in JIRA with full context, transcribed and ready for you to act on
- Jump into the backend of our system and resolve whatever the AI couldn't - reviewing document sets, correcting categorisation and indexing, reconciling gaps and completing the disclosure work the firm needed
- Get on the phone with firms when needed - using your disclosure experience to work out what has been provided, what is missing and what the lawyer actually needs before the matter can move
- Translate every manual intervention into a clear product ticket for the dev team - not just describing what happened, but framing what it means for the product so the same thing doesn't happen twice
- Prioritise across a reactive queue - it's a bit like helpdesk; you won't know what each day looks like, and turning things around quickly matters
- Hold your own with senior lawyers and partners - push back where you need to, ask the harder question, and bring perspective when one firm's approach to disclosure isn't another's
- Partner with Cass and the engineering team to shape how the AI Paralegal product handles disclosure - your insight is roadmap fuel as we scale from 36 firms toward 100

What you'll bring

- Hands-on experience running financial disclosure in family law matters - collating, indexing and reviewing documents, chasing gaps and preparing disclosure for exchange - ideally across more than one firm, so you've seen how different practices do it
- Confident communicating with lawyers, partners, and clients - you can hold your own and push back where it's warranted
- Sharp judgment in ambiguous situations - you can look at a messy set of documents and work out what is relevant, what is missing and what the lawyer actually needs
- Strong written communication and attention to detail - your tickets and notes are what the dev team builds from, and disclosure leaves no room for sloppiness
- Comfortable with reactive,



fast-moving work - you can prioritise, switch context, and turn things around quickly
- Curious about how AI is changing legal work - and excited to be part of building it
- Based in Sydney or Brisbane
