MyCareSpace connects Australians living with disability and aged care needs to verified local support and therapy providers. We've just launched our recent platform, connect.mycarespace.com.au, featuring participant and provider portals, complex matching algorithms, and a business directory , and we're looking for the developer who'll take real ownership of it.

As lead developer for the Connect platform, you'll take over the existing codebase and drive its ongoing maintenance, feature development, and optimisation.

You'll manage our Supabase PostgreSQL database, extend our Algolia search implementation, and build features across both the participant-facing matching flows and the provider-facing business directory.

● Minimum three years' professional experience as a full-stack developer

● A deep understanding of React fundamentals, hooks, state management, and server-side rendering or static site generation using Next.js





● Proven experience building production-grade applications with Supabase or similar Backend-as-a-Service platforms like Firebase

● Experience designing complex database schemas and security policies

This is a full-stack role, not a frontend-only or frontend-heavy one: our platform holds sensitive participant and provider data, including personally identifiable information (PII), so you'll be trusted to make API and database-level changes securely and without compromising data integrity. Experience integrating Algolia is highly desirable, and strong independent troubleshooting and communication skills are essential.

Pay: $90,000.00 – $109,000.00 per year
