Parts Interpreter – Start Your Automotive Career with GWM

Caloundra GWM is looking for a motivated, switched-on and reliable person to join our Parts & Service team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in the automotive industry with one of Australia's fastest-growing vehicle brands.

You don't need to know everything about parts on day one. If you have a great attitude, turn up, work hard and are keen to learn, we can teach you the rest.

What You'll Be Doing

This isn't a job where you'll sit behind a desk all day. It's a varied, hands-on role where you'll work across our Parts Department while also helping our Service team when things get busy.

Your day could include

- Picking and organising parts for our workshop
- Learning how to interpret and order automotive parts
- Helping customers at the front counter
- Answering parts and service phone calls
- Helping customers make service bookings
- Delivering parts locally
- Receiving and putting away stock
- Finding the right parts for our technicians
- Keeping the Parts Department organised
- Jumping in and helping the wider dealership team when needed

Who We're Looking For

Attitude and reliability are the big ones for us. You'll suit this role if you're someone who:

- Turns up on time and can be relied upon
- Has a strong work ethic and likes keeping busy




- Is confident talking to customers
- Is comfortable answering the phone
- Enjoys cars and wants to learn more about the automotive industry
- Is organised and pays attention to detail
- Is happy to get in and help rather than saying "that's not my job"
- Can work as part of a close-knit team
- Has a current driver's licence

Previous parts or dealership experience would be great, but it's not essential for the right person. Experience from automotive retail, warehousing, customer service, mechanical, tyre or trade environments could also be a great fit.
