Pickering Automotive Group is looking for an experienced Parts Interpreter / Warehouse Supervisor to join our automotive team on the Gold Coast.
We are looking for someone who already knows the automotive parts industry and can confidently handle parts interpretation while overseeing the day-to-day organisation and operation of the warehouse.
Previous automotive industry experience is essential. We want someone who understands vehicle parts, can work efficiently with technicians and suppliers, and has the experience to keep a busy parts and warehouse operation organised.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and interpret automotive parts accurately
- Process parts enquiries and orders
- Source and order parts from suppliers
- Receive, check and organise incoming stock
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations
- Maintain accurate inventory and stock records
- Coordinate parts for workshop and service requirements
- Ensure parts are correctly stored, labelled and easily accessible
- Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control
- Coordinate deliveries and dispatch of parts
- Liaise with technicians, service staff and suppliers
- Maintain an organised, safe and efficient warehouse
- Help improve parts and warehouse processes where required
About You
- Previous automotive parts industry experience is essential
- Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter, Parts Advisor, Parts Manager, Warehouse Supervisor or similar
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and components
- Experience working within a dealership, automotive workshop or parts operation highly regarded
- Good inventory and stock-control knowledge
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Confident communicating with suppliers, technicians and other departments
- Reliable, professional and able to take responsibility
- Positive computer and administration skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
