Troocoo is partnering with a well known organisation to recruit two experienced Payroll Officers for three and six month contract opportunities. Working as part of an established payroll team, these positions will support the accurate and timely delivery of payroll within a busy, high volume environment. We are looking for experienced payroll professionals who can confidently step in and make an immediate contribution.
Due to the required start dates, candidates must be immediately available or have a maximum notice period of one week.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Processing high volume payroll accurately and within required timeframes
- Maintaining employee payroll data
- Processing commencements, employee changes and terminations
- Calculating leave, allowances, deductions and superannuation
- Preparing payroll reports and reconciliations
- Responding to employee payroll enquiries
- Investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies
- Supporting compliance with relevant legislation, awards, policies and procedures
About You
- Previous experience working in a high volume payroll environment
- Confidence managing end to end payroll processes
- Knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards and superannuation
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively within strict payroll deadlines
- Explicit communication and customer service skills
- Experience using Aurion would be advantageous but is not essential
