Today, our experienced team of nurses and health care professionals continues to provide hospital-level care at home, combining clinical expertise and high-quality treatment with genuine comfort, compassion and personalised support.
We care for patients with a wide range of needs including wound management, stoma care, pain and medication management, infusions, rehabilitation and postnatal care — all delivered in the convenience of your own home.
About the role
Join our Healthcare at Home team as a Personal Care Assistant and make a meaningful difference in the lives of people receiving care in their own homes. Working on a casual basis, you will provide compassionate personal care and practical support that enables clients to maintain their independence, dignity and wellbeing.
This diverse role combines hands-on client support with assistance in the day-to-day operations of our Healthcare at Home service. It is well suited to a motivated individual who enjoys working independently, building positive client relationships and contributing to a collaborative community healthcare team.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal care and support tailored to each patient's individual needs within their home.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including showering, dressing, grooming and mobility support.
- Deliver care with professionalism, compassion and respect, maintaining patient dignity, privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses and members of the multidisciplinary team to support positive patient outcomes.
- Promptly report and escalate any changes in a patient's health,
condition or wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate, timely and confidential patient records and documentation.
- Support stock management activities, including monitoring inventory levels, ordering supplies and restocking clinical consumables and equipment.
- Assist with the upkeep of fleet vehicles, including completing routine audits, maintaining cleanliness and reporting maintenance or safety concerns.
- Ensure community fleet vehicles are appropriately stocked, organised and ready for daily service delivery.
- Provide administrative and operational support to contribute to the efficient functioning of the Healthcare at Home service.
Your skills and experience
You will bring a compassionate, patient-focused approach to care and a genuine commitment to supporting people to remain independent in their own homes. With experience in a community, aged care, disability or healthcare setting, you will be confident providing personal care, following care plans, and working collaboratively with Registered Nurses and the multidisciplinary team. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to manage your workload effectively, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
A Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Home and Community Care or a related qualification, along with current First Aid, CPR and a valid WA Driver's Licence, are essential.

- Casual Hourly Rate: $40.63 to $42.57 hour (inclusive of casual loading), plus 12% superannuation
