The Role

n

Join our dynamic kitchen team as a Chef de Partie, where you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, consistent meals in a safe and compliant environment. Working closely with the Chef Team Leader and broader kitchen staff, you'll prepare large-volume meals with care, ensuring all dietary and texture-modified requirements are met. We're looking for someone with a passion for cooking, strong organisational skills, and an understanding of the nutritional needs of elderly residents.

- Ability to complete the key responsibilities of the role to the required standard
n
- Be aware of work health and safety requirements and report hazards and issues of concern.
n
- Be aware of emergency procedures and location of evacuation exits and equipment
n
- Assistance in the maintenance of a clean, hazard free environment
n
- Follow workplace procedures for accident and incident reporting
n

What We're Looking For

n

Qualifications

n

n
- Level 1 and 2 Food Safety Certificate / Appropriate Food Safety Competence
n
- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery
n

n

Experience

n

n
- Proven experience as a Sous chef or in a similar role in a production kitchen.
n
- Sound knowledge of food safety practices, including HACCP regulations.
n
- Understanding of the dietary needs and nutritional requirements of elderly residents,



including texture-modified diets.
n
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment.
n
- Understanding of portion control and large-scale food preparation techniques.
n
- Experience with bulk cooking and the ability to adapt recipes for large quantities while maintaining food quality.
n
