Merkon Constructions is seeking a Senior Estimator to join our Melbourne based team in Moorabbin. Working across high-quality mixed use, residential, institutional and commercial projects and be responsible for -

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Leading a team of estimators
n
- Estimate and monitor construction costs from the project feasibility stage, through tender preparation and submission.
n
- Complete detailed cost estimates calculated from a measured scope of works.
n
- Compare contractor's quotations, scope reviews, and tender comparisons.
n
- Provide m2 elemental reports to estimate feasibility-buildability of projects.
n
- Prepare and lead weekly tender meetings.
n
- Be responsible for sourcing tenders to estimate
n

You will need to have:

n

n
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar or proven extensive experience (age is no barrier).
n
- An understanding of Melbourne subcontract market and construction pricing.
n
- A robust team leadership skill
n
