Our client is a well-established construction contractor delivering a range of civil and commercial projects throughout the Mackay and Whitsunday regions. With a strong reputation for quality workmanship, safety, and project delivery, they continue to secure a consistent pipeline of work and are seeking experienced Site Supervisors to support their ongoing growth.
Your new role
As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations across civil and commercial construction projects. You will coordinate trades, subcontractors and project schedules while ensuring works are completed safely, on time and to a high standard. Working closely with project stakeholders, you will play a key role in maintaining site productivity, compliance and quality outcomes.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 2-5 years' experience as a Site Supervisor
- Experience delivering Australian civil and/or commercial construction projects
- QBCC Site Supervisor Licence
- Current White Card
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Solid understanding of WHS and site compliance requirements
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Well-organised with strong planning abilities
- Civil construction experience, operator tickets and/or relevant project management experience highly regarded
- Certificate III in Carpentry highly regarded for commercial construction experience
- Local candidates preferred or willingness to relocate to the Mackay & Whitsunday region
