Responsibilities

As an HC Transport Operator, you will be responsible for completing safe, compliant and productive store deliveries throughout Brisbane and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities include:

- Operating HC vehicles in accordance with transport and safety requirements
- Completing scheduled store deliveries within allocated delivery windows
- Following run sheets and planned delivery routes
- Conducting pre-start and end-of-shift vehicle inspections
- Maintaining compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and fatigue management requirements
- Completing manifests, delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately
- Reporting hazards, incidents and maintenance issues promptly




- Communicating effectively with transport coordinators and warehouse teams
- Maintaining a professional standard of presentation and customer service
- Contributing to a positive and safety-focused team culture

Your Profile

To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess:

- A current and valid HC (Heavy Combination) Licence
- Previous experience operating HC vehicles
- Strong knowledge of road transport regulations, CoR and fatigue management
- A commitment to safety and compliance
- The ability to work independently and meet delivery schedules
- Excellent reliability, punctuality and communication skills
- A professional attitude and strong work ethic

Highly regarded:

- Previous supermarket or retail distribution experience
- Store delivery experience
- Experience using EPJs, tailgate loaders or similar MHE
- Clean driving history

Shift information

- Day Shift | 9:00am Start | $42.00 per hour
- Night Shift | 8:00pm Start | $53.00 per hour
- 80 hours per fortnight
- 9-day fortnight roster
- Local Brisbane and surrounding routes only
