Full-time Permanent Pet Resort Manager Role in North Brisbane

Our client is seeking an experienced leader with a customer-centric approach and a love for animals who can ensure exceptional customer experiences, the upholding of high animal care standards, and drive operational performance across the site.

Your new role

You will be responsible for leading a team, managing resort operations, coordinating staff rosters, maintaining health and safety compliance, overseeing budgets and site performance, and ensuring the wellbeing of all pets in care. This role requires someone who enjoys balancing people leadership, customer service, administration, and operational responsibilities within a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include

- Leading, coaching, training and supporting staff
- Managing staff rosters and daily operations
- Delivering exceptional customer service and building client trust to develop lasting relationships
- Overseeing pet check-in and check-out processes
- Managing bookings, administration, reporting and site documentation
- Monitoring budgets, performance metrics and operational efficiencies
- Ordering stock and overseeing inventory levels
- Coordinating recruitment, onboarding and staff development
- Maintaining facility presentation, cleanliness and safety standards




- Supporting marketing initiatives and local business engagement
- Handling customer enquiries, feedback and issue resolution
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and workplace safety requirements

Key Skills Required

- Previous management or team leadership experience
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Experience managing rosters and workflow coordination
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Experience managing budgets, KPIs and operational performance
- Confidence handling customer concerns and resolving issues professionally
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
- A commitment to workplace health and safety standards
- A current driving licence
