About the role

Routine Pest Control is seeking an experienced Pest Control Technician to join our growing team in Condell Park, NSW. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering high-quality pest management services to our residential and commercial clients. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest infestations, and implementing effective treatment solutions to protect our clients' homes and businesses.

This hands-on role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring customer satisfaction across the Sydney region.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct thorough pest inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify infestations and pest activity
- Apply appropriate pest control treatments using approved chemicals, baits, and equipment in accordance with safety regulations and best practices
- Set and monitor pest control traps and monitoring devices
- Provide customers with detailed reports on pest control findings and treatment recommendations
- Educate clients on pest prevention measures and hygiene practices to minimise future infestations
- Maintain accurate records of all treatments, chemicals used, and customer feedback
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and stored safely
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations whilst on client premises
- Respond to customer enquiries and address any concerns regarding pest control services
- Travel to multiple job sites throughout the Sydney region in a timely manner

What we're looking for

- Current or eligible for Pest Control Technician accreditation or similar qualification in pest management
- Proven experience working as a pest control technician or in a similar pest management role
- Knowledge of common pests including insects, rodents, and other wildlife relevant to Australian properties
- Familiarity with pest control chemicals, equipment, and application methods




- Understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to pest control work, including chemical handling and disposal
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow treatment protocols accurately
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients of all backgrounds
- Valid Australian driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Physical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions and challenging environments
- Problem-solving ability and willingness to learn about new pest control techniques and products
- Reliability, punctuality, and professional attitude in all client interactions
