About The Role The Mental Health Service in Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is a district-wide service across three large inpatient facilities (Concord Centre for Mental Health (CCMH), Professor Marie Bashir Centre, Thomas Walker Hospital) and five community health centres.
The Pharmacy Service within Mental Health is an award-winning and forward-thinking department committed to delivering exceptional consumer care and advancing pharmacy practice. Recognised with the NSW Team Innovation Award 2026, the team is at the forefront of clinical innovation, including the implementation of Pharmacist Partnered Medication Charting (PPMC). Pharmacists work closely within multidisciplinary teams, attending case reviews, conducting medication histories and clinical medication reviews, and providing pharmacist-led consumer education and consultation services.
SLHD is seeking an enthusiastic clinical pharmacist, specialising in mental health, to join our Pharmacy Team at CCMH. The CCMH Pharmacy is located within the CCMH and exists on the Concord Repatriation General Hospital (CRGH) campus.
Clinical pharmacists at CCMH are responsible for the effective provision of high-quality pharmaceutical services and provide expert advice relating to the specialty area of mental health to health care professionals and clients.

Ideal Candidate
- Current Pharmacist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and able to practice independently.
- Knowledge of hospital pharmacy practice, including medication management, dispensing, and clinical pharmacy services.
- Experience in, or knowledge of, mental health pharmacy practice and psychotropic medicines.
- Ability to prioritise workload, manage competing demands, and meet deadlines in a busy healthcare environment.
- Grade 2 Pharmacists must meet the criteria set out in the Award and are expected to be able to demonstrate continual ability to meet three of the five competencies within the Award.
