This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for the flexibility of casual employment while gaining valuable experience in a busy hospital pharmacy environment. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will support the Pharmacy team with a range of activities, including dispensing support, stock management, distribution of medications and general pharmacy duties. You will work alongside Pharmacists and Pharmacy technicians to ensure the safe, effective and timely delivery of Pharmacy services to patients and clinical teams across Nepean Hospital.

What you will bring to the role

1. Ability to work with medications in a community or hospital setting under the supervision of a pharmacist or pharmacy tech.
2. Effective written and verbal communication skills
3. Ability to perform arithmetic and calculations required for pharmacy assistance
4. Computer literacy, including ability to use MS Office applications
5. Demonstrated ability to work individually and in a team environment
6. Demonstrated experience in delivering positive customer services and possess good interpersonal and communication skills
7. Ability to work in a busy workplace and possess good time management skills
