Boronia Aged Care | Part Time | 31 hours per fortnight

We are seeking a passionate Registered Nurse to join our team on a part-time basis, working 31 hours per fortnight.

n

As a Registered Nurse, you will play an important role in delivering safe and effective clinical care while supporting the health, wellbeing and quality of life of our residents.

n

Key Duties

n

n
- Providing high-quality, person-centred nursing care to all residents in accordance with their individual care needs and clinical requirements
n
- Conducting comprehensive nursing assessments and developing, implementing and evaluating individualised care plans
n
- Administering medications safely and accurately in accordance with legislation, clinical guidelines, care plans and MACG policies
n
- Performing clinical assessments and specialised nursing procedures, including wound care, pressure injury management and blood glucose monitoring
n
- Monitoring residents' health and wellbeing, recognising changes in condition and responding appropriately to clinical incidents and emergencies
n
- Providing clinical leadership,



supervision and support to Personal Care Workers to ensure safe and effective resident care
n
- Liaising with GPs, allied health professionals, families and other healthcare providers to support coordinated resident care
n
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and compliance with AHPRA requirements, relevant legislation, MACG policies, clinical standards and Work Health and Safety requirements

About You

n

n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
- Previous experience in residential aged care is highly regarded
n
- Solid clinical assessment, medication management and documentation skills
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- A compassionate, person-centred approach to resident care
n
- Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families and the wider care team
n
- Strong commitment to clinical governance, quality and safe work practices
