Principal Data Architect - 3 Month Contract (3 Days Per Week)

A well established not for profit private health insurer is looking for an experienced Principal Data Architect to join the team on a 3 month contract basis at 3 days per week. This is a senior hands on engagement working closely with the Head of Strategy, Data and AI to provide architectural guidance and direction during a critical period of platform and capability uplift.

What you will be doing:

- Designing and reviewing enterprise data architecture across cloud and on premise environments
n
- Providing senior technical guidance to internal data engineering and BI teams
n
- Advising on data modelling, integration patterns, governance frameworks and data quality standards
n
- Supporting the organisation's broader data platform modernisation and AI enablement initiatives
n




- Engaging with senior stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable architectural solutions
n

What you will need:

n

n
- Proven experience at Principal or Senior Data Architect level
n
- Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture in regulated or compliance heavy environments
n
- Experience across cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud
n
- Solid understanding of data governance, security and privacy requirements
n
- Experience in health insurance, financial services or government is highly regarded
n
- Ability to hit the ground running and operate effectively in a part time contract capacity
n
