Balance Physio GC is looking for a Physiotherapist to join our growing Mermaid Beach clinic.

We believe great physiotherapy combines strong clinical reasoning, hands-on treatment, patient education and exercise rehabilitation.

Our patients come to us because they want a clinician who will take the time to assess what is happening, provide genuine treatment and develop a explicit plan to help them improve.

About Balance Physio GC

Balance Physio GC is part of Balance Group Australia, a growing multidisciplinary healthcare group operating across physiotherapy, podiatry, occupational therapy, mobility equipment and rehabilitation services.

Our Mermaid Beach clinic has an established patient base, strong administration support and referral pathways across our wider healthcare group.

This means our Physiotherapists can focus on what they do best providing excellent clinical care.

About the Role

You will manage a varied private practice caseload, with a strong focus on musculoskeletal physiotherapy and hands-on treatment.

Your role will include:

· Assessing and treating a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions

· Providing hands-on treatment and manual therapy where clinically appropriate

· Developing individualised treatment and rehabilitation plans

· Incorporating exercise rehabilitation, strengthening and conditioning into treatment

· Managing acute injuries, chronic conditions and post-surgical rehabilitation





· Educating patients and helping them understand their condition and treatment pathway

· Building strong, long-term relationships with patients

· Supporting appropriate rebooking and continuity of care

· Maintaining high-quality clinical notes and professional standards

· Working collaboratively with our wider allied health team

· Contributing to internal and external referral relationships

About You

We are looking for someone who:

· Holds unrestricted AHPRA registration

· Has strong musculoskeletal assessment and treatment skills

· Is confident with manual therapy and hands-on treatment

· Has good clinical reasoning

· Can manage a diverse caseload

· Communicates confidently with patients

· Enjoys building long-term patient relationships

· Takes ownership of patient outcomes

· Values a combination of hands-on treatment and evidence-based rehabilitation

· Wants to be part of a growing, multidisciplinary healthcare organisation

· We are open to Physiotherapists at different stages of their career and are particularly interested in finding the right clinical fit and approach to patient care.

Experience Highly Regarded

· Experience or additional training in any of the following would be an advantage:

· Sports Physiotherapy

· Manual Therapy

· Dry Needling

· Post-Surgical Rehabilitation

· Strength & Conditioning

· Chronic Pain Management

· Headache and Cervical Spine Conditions

· TMJ Treatment

· Vestibular Rehabilitation

· BPPV, dizziness and balance conditions





· Vestibular experience is not essential. For the right Physiotherapist, we are open to supporting professional development in this area.
