Your new role
As a Plant Operator, you will play a key role in the construction, maintenance and operation of civil infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for operating and servicing a variety of vehicles, plant and equipment while supporting roadworks, maintenance programs and urban services activities. The role will also involve general labouring duties as required and may include working in remote locations and camping out when necessary. What you'll need to succeed
- Relevant plant operating tickets and licences applicable to the equipment being operated
- Minimum 12 months' experience operating plant and equipment
- Construction White Card
- Current Driver's Licence
- Experience within civil construction, road maintenance or infrastructure environments
- Knowledge of basic mechanical maintenance and servicing of plant equipment
- Ability to undertake hands-on labouring duties when required
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Traffic Controller / Traffic Management Ticket highly regarded
- Additional plant operating certifications highly desirable
