What’s the role?

We are seeking an experienced professional specialising in Confluent Kafka administration and basic solution architecture. You will provide administrative support and practical troubleshooting for current initiatives onboarding to Kafka, assist teams during solution development and testing, and support production issue resolution.

Experience with Confluent Cloud is preferred but not essential, and experience with Confluent Schema Registry and Avro is highly preferred, as Avro is used extensively. Prior experience supporting Kafka developers is an advantage.

What do I need?

- Strong hands-on experience administering and supporting Confluent Kafka environments.
- Good working knowledge of Confluent Kafka administration, basic solution architecture and operations.
- Experience supporting Kafka developers through onboarding, solution development, testing and production issue resolution.
- Prior experience with Confluent Cloud is preferred but not essential.
- Experience with Confluent Schema Registry and Avro is highly preferred, as Avro is used extensively.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to provide practical guidance to delivery teams.
