About the role

As a Classroom Teacher, you will create a safe, engaging and supportive classroom where every student is encouraged to achieve their personal best academically, socially and personally. You will deliver the Victorian Curriculum while fostering positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.

Key responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Differentiate teaching to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress.
- Build positive partnerships with parents through effective communication.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student learning and wellbeing.
- Support the Islamic ethos and values of the school in your professional practice.
- Participate in school events, professional learning and staff meetings.

About you

- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.




- Relevant qualification in Primary Education.
- Sound knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
- Current First Aid, CPR and Mandatory Reporting training, or willingness to obtain.
- Current Working with Children Check (where applicable).
- Demonstrated commitment to child safety, student wellbeing and maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.
- Understanding of mandatory reporting and child protection responsibilities relevant to a Victorian school environment.
