This is an exciting opportunity for an educational leader to join Penong Primary School and Preschool, a small, welcoming and community-connected site located approximately 70 km west of Ceduna and 850 km north-west of Adelaide on the stunning Far West Coast of South Australia. Surrounded by the natural beauty and unique lifestyle of the region, including iconic local attractions such as Cactus Beach and Point Sinclair, Penong offers a distinctive setting for a principal seeking both professional fulfilment and a robust sense of place.

In addition to the salary, other financial incentives may apply depending on the site location: education.sa.gov.au/countryteaching. Please note that a new classification level may be applied to this site during the advertised tenure.
Where this new classification level results in a remuneration level that is higher than that advertised, the new remuneration level will apply. Where the new classification level results in a remuneration level that is lower than the advertised remuneration, the remuneration associated with the advertised classification level under the SA School and Preschool Education Staff Enterprise Agreement 2024 will apply.
The successful applicant will be able to negotiate a reduction in the advertised tenure following their appointment, if required.
