The Women’s Legal Centre ACT (WLC) is a specialist community legal centre dedicated to improving women’s lives through the legal system and advancing gender equality, providing legal assistance across almost all legal domains, alongside its specialist Access to Justice Program for First Nations women.

They operate a feminist, trauma-informed and multidisciplinary service model, integrating legal services with social work, cultural supports and community partnerships to provide holistic assistance, particularly for clients experiencing vulnerability, disadvantage and gender-based violence.

The Women's Legal Centre are seeking to appoint a critical leadership role in a Principal Solicitor for their Family Law practice. The role is responsible for leading the Family Law practice and serving as the organisation’s Principal family law expert, working closely with the Director Legal Services, CEO and your counterpart Principals across the other practice groups.

Ideally you'll combine technical family law expertise,



legal practice leadership, people management, risk and compliance, strategic program delivery and excellent stakeholder engagement.
