About the role:
- Be part of building and shaping KIIS Melbourne Breakfast as we create a show designed specifically for Melbourne audiences.
- Work alongside a talented on-air and content team to create engaging, entertaining and conversation-starting radio.
- Develop content that reflects Melbourne life, culture, entertainment, sport and the stories people are talking about.
- Create original features, interviews, stunts, listener experiences and content ideas that stand out in the market.
- Stay connected to what’s happening across Melbourne and identify opportunities to turn local moments into compelling content.
- Help source guests, talent and listener stories that create memorable radio and digital content.
- Contribute ideas across broadcast, podcast, social, video and digital platforms.
- Play a key role in launching and growing a new chapter of KIIS Breakfast in Melbourne.
About you:
- You’re passionate about creating content people genuinely want to talk about, share and engage with.
- You’re creative, curious and constantly looking for the next great story, angle or idea.
- You understand Melbourne audiences and what resonates with them.
- You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy working as part of a high-performing team.
- You’re organised, proactive and capable of juggling multiple priorities.
- You have strong writing,
communication and storytelling skills.
- You’re across entertainment, lifestyle, social media, sport, news and popular culture.
- You enjoy collaborating with talent and helping bring out the best in others.
- Radio, podcast, digital, social or content production experience is highly regarded.
- Most importantly, you’re energetic, hungry to learn and excited about building something special.
