Gliderol Garage Doors is seeking a motivated and hands-on Leading Hand to join our Pinkenba Production team. Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll play a key role in leading a small team, coordinating daily production activities, and ensuring products are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leading from the front, mentoring others, and taking ownership in a fast-paced production environment.

What You Will Do

- Lead, support, and motivate a small production team.

- Coordinate daily production activities and allocate workloads.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings and measurements.

- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout production.

- Train, coach, and develop team members on the factory floor.

- Act as the first point of escalation for operational issues.

- Work closely with internal teams to ensure production targets are met.

- Champion a strong safety culture and positive team environment.

What We Require

- Experience within a manufacturing, production, or industrial workplace.

- Previous experience as a Leading Hand, Team Leader, or Supervisor.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.

- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.





- A hands-on leadership style with a strong focus on quality and safety.

- Availability to work Monday to Thursday 6:00am to 2:30pm and Friday 6:00am to 12:00pm.

What We Prefer

- Exposure to production planning and scheduling.

- Experience with SAGE or similar ERP systems.

- Experience using power tools, measuring equipment, and assembly tools.
