Role Description The Production Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bundaberg, QLD, responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations. This role includes planning and coordinating production schedules, managing resources and staffing, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards, and optimizing workflows across rotational moulding and steel fabrication lines.
The Production
Manager monitors production output, addresses equipment or process issues, and collaborates with engineering, R&D;, and logistics teams to meet delivery timelines and product specifications. The role also involves leading and coaching production team members, supporting continuous improvement initiatives,
and maintaining accurate reporting on performance, costs, and inventory.

Manager works closely with senior leadership to align production capabilities with customer demand and business objectives.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in production or manufacturing management, preferably within fabrication, plastics, or industrial engineering environments.
- Strong skills in production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet output and quality targets.
- Proficiency in workflow optimization, process improvement, and lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Solid understanding of quality control, safety standards, and compliance requirements in manufacturing settings.
- Effective people management skills, including team leadership, performance coaching, and conflict resolution.
- Ability to analyze production data, manage budgets, and use manufacturing or ERP software for reporting and decision-making.
- Relevant technical or trade qualifications in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial operations; a diploma or degree in engineering, operations management, or similar field is highly regarded.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work constructively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in rotational moulding, steel fabrication, or agricultural/storage products is an advantage.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and customer-focused outcomes, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.
