Who are we
CSC Group Australia is a well-established company that imports, manufactures, and distributes products across Australia and Recent Zealand. Our key areas of focus are:
- Exhaust and Emission Control
- Vehicle Protection and Compliance
- Vehicle Aftermarket Accessories and Enhancements
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced project, production or workflow professional who thrives on bringing structure, visibility and momentum to complex custom work. As our Project & Flow Manager, you will take ownership of the journey from customer sign-off through to production release. You will ensure custom and made-to-order jobs are complete, visible and moving, while coordinating the people, information, materials and decisions required to keep each project on track.
You will lead and support our Estimating and CAD team, work closely with technical and operational subject-matter experts, and create clear accountability across each stage of the workflow. You will also manage our new product development pipeline and help identify repeat custom work that can be converted into standard, catalogued products.
This is a newly created role with genuine scope to build and improve the function. It will suit someone who is energised by creating order, solving bottlenecks and establishing practical systems, rather than stepping into a fully mature process.
How will you help us
As the Project & Flow Manager, your mission is to ensure custom work moves from customer sign-off to production release complete, visible and on schedule, while helping repeat work become standardised and catalogued.
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Custom Job Workflow Oversight and Management – Take ownership of the workflow ensuring requirements, drawings, materials, approvals, owners and due dates are clear, and each job continues moving towards production release
- Lead and coach a small Estimating and CAD team, creating clarity around priorities, workload, standards and delivery expectations
- Custom and Made-to-Order Production Order Creation – Oversee the creation and release of production orders, including bill of materials accuracy, critical component review and purchasing requirements
- Work closely with procurement and other internal stakeholders to ensure critical components are specified, ordered, followed up and available in line with production requirements
- Build and maintain a clear visual project pipeline that shows the status, owner, next step, risk and required date for each custom job
- Manage the new product development funnel using clear project stages, gates, owners and dates so that projects continue to progress
- Productization of Repeat Work – Identify recurring custom or made-to-order work that can be standardised and converted into catalogued products or SKUs
- Collaborate with internal subject-matter experts and technical authorities to resolve issues, secure approvals and prevent work from stalling
- Monitor post-production reviews and ensure relevant learnings, corrective actions and improvement opportunities are followed through
Success in this role means custom projects flow efficiently from customer sign-off to production release, with clear visibility throughout the process. You'll build a proactive, well-coordinated function that keeps work moving, supports product innovation, and delivers a better experience for both internal teams and customers.
Skills You Will Need
- Experience in production planning, scheduling, project coordination or workflow management within a manufacturing environment
- Previous project management experience including managing multi-stage work with gates, owners, priorities and deadlines
- Metal fabrication, sheet metal or industrial product experience
- Knowledge of made-to-order manufacturing
- Strong working knowledge of an ERP or MRP system, including creating and releasing production orders
- Purchasing exposure, with the ability to specify requirements against production dates
- The ability to read and understand technical drawings and bills of materials
- Confidence building and maintaining visual workflow or pipeline boards
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Robust prioritisation and decision-making skills
- Confidence communicating and coordinating effectively across diverse teams
- Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
- Excellent organisation, time management and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A practical, proactive and solutions-focused approach
- A willingness to learn, improve processes and help build a developing function
- Experience with MYOB Acumatica will be highly regarded, although experience with another mainstream ERP or MRP system is also suitable.
What’s in It for You
- A newly created role with the opportunity to shape how custom projects flow through the business
- Real ownership and visibility across projects from customer sign-off to production release
- Exposure to custom manufacturing, new product development, production planning and continuous improvement
- Opportunities for training and career development, because we know our people are our greatest assets
- Collaboration with experienced product, technical, sales and manufacturing specialists
- A modern work environment with complimentary team snacks and lunches
