The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join the delivery team on a flagship $100m+ aged care development, a landmark project that will set a new standard for quality, compliance, and resident experience.

This is a rare opportunity to take on real ownership across multiple work fronts on a high-profile, technically complex development, working alongside a high-calibre project team within a structured and supportive business.

Key Responsibilities

- Take ownership of the coordination and delivery of construction activities across multiple work fronts on site
- Manage subcontractor procurement, scheduling and performance across allocated packages, ensuring works are delivered on program and to specification
- Coordinate closely with design consultants and internal teams to resolve RFIs, technical queries and drawing issues in a timely manner
- Lead quality assurance processes on allocated packages and ensure compliance with ICIRT standards and project specifications
- Monitor, update and report on project programs, identifying and escalating risks,



delays and variations
- Oversee the preparation of project documentation, submittals and procurement schedules
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to drive performance and accountability
- Support the Senior Project Manager with cost control, forecasting and reporting on the project
- Champion site safety standards and ensure compliance with company policy and WHS legislation

About You

- Tertiary qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
- Must have local experience 2+ years as a Project Engineer on medium to large scale residential, aged care or specialist accommodation projects.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of packages and work fronts with minimal supervision
- Strong technical knowledge of construction methodology, documentation and site processes
- Proven track record managing subcontractor performance and driving program outcomes
- Must have full Australian working rights
- Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, solutions focused approach with the confidence to lead on site
