Project Engineer – High Voltage & Data Centre Infrastructure

Responsibilities

As a Project Engineer, you will:

- Provide day-to-day electrical engineering support across live HV and data centre construction projects.
- Collaborate with the construction and delivery teams on switchboard and power systems scope, from design review through to installation and testing.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and the client’s technical team to ensure works are completed on schedule and meet specifications.
- Support HV testing and commissioning activities, including documentation and quality sign-off.
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and method statements, identifying risks or clashes early.
- Contribute to progress reporting, technical queries, and change management on-site.
- Champion safety and quality standards across all engineering activities.

Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Solid experience working with high voltage electrical systems.
- A strong electrical engineering background,



with hands-on exposure to switchboards and power systems.
- Construction project experience, particularly in mining, industrial, or heavy infrastructure environments (highly valued).
- A cooperative approach and the confidence to work directly with construction, project, and commissioning teams.
- Exposure to data centre projects (preferred but not essential). A strong technical foundation and the drive to grow are what matter most.

Your typical day will involve:

- Reviewing and interpreting technical designs and specifications.
