The Opportunity
Lutheran Homes Group is seeking a new Project Manager on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract within their Operations function to lead and deliver their Digital Uplift program, including the integration and implementation of new ERP and CRM solutions.
This role is critical in ensuring the successful execution of the Digital Uplift program by managing day-to-day project activities, coordinating resources, and overseeing project milestones. LHG’s leadership team is incredibly invested in the program of work, and the opportunities it will create for the business.
As the key internal point of contact for program-related matters, the Project Manager will provide oversight, risk management, and issue escalation to ensure the program stays on track. They will work closely with internal teams, including Business Analyst and Change resources, external consultants, and stakeholders, including the Steering Committee, to drive project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee project execution, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met on time, within budget, and to scope.
- Identify, document, and mitigate risks associated with project delivery.
- Manage interdependencies between software providers and internal teams to minimise conflicts and delays.
- Track progress against the approved plan and escalate any budget/time changes to the program sponsor.
- Manage and coordinate LHG project resources and consultants as required.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders, including the Steering Committee, to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Manage the program budget with the delivery partner to prevent overruns.
- Facilitate monthly status reporting to the program sponsor and Steering Committee.
- Work with the Change Lead to implement change management initiatives for smooth adoption of new systems and processes.
- Collaborate with organisational leaders to develop and execute change and communication plans supporting staff engagement and readiness.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Project Management, or a related field.
- Project Management experience with a certification in project management methodologies such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile.
- Demonstrated success in implementing an ERP solution, experience of interacting with TechnologyOne and / or eCase would be advantageous.
- Proven experience managing multiple software vendors and complex project interdependencies.
- Strong relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders, ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive collaboration.
- Proficiency in identifying and mitigating project risks.
- Proficiency in project budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present to executive audiences.
