HAMR Energy - Project Manager

Company Description: HAMR Energy is an Australian-based renewable fuels development company founded in 2021. Role Description: The Project Manager role will be responsible for the delivery of a component ($100M) of the HAMR Energy flagship project, Project Shearwater. The role is based in Adelaide or Melbourne.

The Project

Manager will report to the Project Director and deliver projects under the HAMR Energy Project Management System with the design engineering and construction being undertaken by major global chemical production technology partners and contractors. The PM will be responsible for scope, budget and delivery of a component of a larger project. The role will be supported by the HAMR Energy team and required to work with internal and external stakeholders to solve problems and deliver the project.

The attributes that HAMR seek in candidates:

- Personal and professional alignment with the mission of HAMR Energy demonstrated by tangible examples of aligned activities or job roles.
- A suitable tertiary degree in a relevant field. While the role is engineering-focused, it is not an essential qualification.




- At least five years relevant experience directly managing a team, budgets more than $5M, or preferably both.
- Qualified knowledge of project management principles, construction, EPC contracting, engineering specialisations or other relevant experience that can support HAMR Energy grow and build capability.
- Previous experiences working in operator/developer roles, or working closely with them to define and deliver projects.
