This organisation is at the forefront of WA's energy transition, responsible for planning and delivering critical transmission infrastructure that will support future growth in renewable energy generation.

Your new role

- Lead the delivery of major transmission infrastructure projects from planning through to execution and close-out.
- Manage the construction and relocation of transmission lines, substations, and associated electrical network assets.
- Deliver projects to agreed scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety objectives.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, resource plans, costs, and man-hour forecasts using Primavera P6 and other project management systems.
- Manage project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and control of Capex and Opex expenditure.
- Identify, assess, and actively manage project risks, assumptions, dependencies, and issues, ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies are implemented.
- Oversee contractor, consultant, and supplier performance to ensure delivery outcomes are achieved.
- Ensure project governance requirements, quality assurance processes, and stage-gate controls are effectively implemented.
- Prepare and present project reports, business cases, and delivery updates to executive leadership, customers, and key stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including engineering teams, construction partners, regulators, landowners, customers, and senior leadership.
- Support the successful transition of completed projects into operational service with minimal business disruption.
- Foster a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

- Extensive experience managing large-scale, complex infrastructure or utility projects, preferably within transmission, power, energy, electrical,



or linear infrastructure environments.
- Proven track record delivering high-value, high-risk projects within constrained timeframes.
- Experience managing transmission line, substation, electrical network, renewable energy connection, or other major utility infrastructure projects.
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline. Electrical or Civil Engineering qualifications are highly regarded.
- Strong working knowledge of recognised project management methodologies such as PMBoK, Prince2, or equivalent frameworks.
- Advanced experience using project controls, scheduling, cost management, and reporting systems including Primavera P6.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project financials, forecasting, commercial performance, and contract administration.
- Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, quality assurance, and stakeholder engagement processes.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate resources across multiple workstreams.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage effectively at executive, customer, and contractor level.
- High levels of commercial acumen, leadership capability, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
