About the Role A severe weather event damaged infrastrcture across Queensland, the Northern Territory and Western Australia. - Manage stakeholder consultation, site access and approval pathways across three jurisdictions.
- Monitor and report on scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, safety and environmental performance.
- Lead site inspections, technical acceptance, commissioning and project close-out.
- Support the organisation's insurance advisor with the severe weather event claim and ensure project records and lessons learned are properly handed over.

About You You're a seasoned client-side Project Manager who is equally comfortable in a program control room and on a remote worksite. You'll bring:

- Strong client-side project and contract management skills, with the ability to run multiple projects at once.
- Sharp negotiation, stakeholder engagement and consultation skills.
- A solid grasp of government procurement, tendering and contract management practices.
- An understanding of contemporary environmental and risk management practices and WHS legislation.
- Hold Australian citizenship

Highly regarded (not essential): a relevant engineering degree and 5+ years in offshore construction, civil or coastal engineering, with exposure to concrete repair, protective coatings or aids to navigation systems.

What's on Offer

- 12-month labour hire contract, commencing 26 October 2026, with our client able to extend for up to a further 12 months.
- Brisbane CBD base, with travel to regional and offshore sites across QLD, NT and WA — flights, accommodation and hire car organised and paid for by our client.
- Adaptable working arrangements in line with our client's policy.
- The chance to lead a nationally significant maritime safety recovery program from the ground up.

How to Apply This role is being filled quickly through a Federal Government procurement process, so we're moving fast — please get in touch as soon as possible to be considered.
