Project Officer
Location - Parramatta with Hybrid working option available
Employment type – Temporary full-time role up to 30 June 2027
Salary - $116,981.00 - $129,492.00 pa, plus superannuation and leave loading
Strategic Initiatives is seeking a motivated and collaborative Project Officer to join our team and support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of workforce and organisational projects. Your role
This role offers a unique chance to work on high-profile initiatives that are shaping how People Branch supports the organisation. Key projects currently include:
- Supporting implementation of Workers Compensation reform impacts across People Branch, including identifying and coordinating impacts to people-related policies, processes, services and supports.
- Developing new frameworks, guidance and support approaches arising from legislative and policy changes.
- Coordinating an organisation-wide Working with Children Check role review.
- Supporting a range of other strategic People Branch initiatives and reform activities as priorities evolve.
What you’ll do In this role you will be working closely with project leads, stakeholders across People Branch and People Executive, you will provide project coordination and governance support, assist with stakeholder engagement activities, coordinate meetings and workshops, track actions and deliverables, prepare project documentation and contribute to reporting and implementation activities. What we’re looking for In addition to the essential requirements outline in the role description, the ideal candidates will be organised, adaptable and enjoy working across a variety of projects. You can build positive relationships,
manage competing priorities and translate information into practical, actionable outcomes. You will bring:
- Experience supporting projects, programs, reforms or organisational initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience coordinating meetings, workshops, governance activities and project documentation.
- High-level written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to research, analyse information and prepare reports, briefs and other project materials.
- A collaborative approach and commitment to building positive stakeholder relationships.
- A willingness to learn, develop, contribute to a supportive team environment and also undertake day-to-to administrative activities
